Board Features
CB302B is a professional-grade carrier board with extensive connectivity and power capabilities, designed for local AI, embedded AI, robotics, wearable compute, and field-deployed systems.
Supported Jetson Modules
The CB302B takes one of four NVIDIA Jetson modules, listed here by name and NVIDIA part number.
| Module | NVIDIA part number |
|---|---|
| NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 4GB | 900-13767-0040-000 |
| NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB | 900-13767-0030-000 |
| NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB | 900-13767-0010-000 |
| NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB | 900-13767-0000-000 |
- Module not included with the bare board.
- Not supported: Jetson AGX Orin, and earlier Jetson modules including Xavier, TX1, TX2, TX2 NX and the original 2019 Jetson Nano.
Already own a Jetson module?
You can use it. The bare CB302B ships without a module, like other Jetson carrier boards, so it is made for people who already have an Orin Nano or Orin NX module.
In the Curve Developer Kit you can add a module we source. If you already have one, choose Bring Your Own Module in the Developer Kit configurator and the kit is priced without it.
The module and the NVMe SSD are both user-replaceable, so you can swap or upgrade either one later.
Not every module part revision is confirmed yet, so send us your module's part number before you reserve.
Display output: DisplayPort over USB-C
The CB302B sends video out over USB-C using DisplayPort Alt Mode. Connect your display to Type-C 1. Type-C 2 is the USB-C PD power input and debug port.
There is no HDMI port on the board.
Coming from Raspberry Pi?
A CB302B with a Jetson Orin Nano or Orin NX module gives you an NVIDIA GPU with CUDA for GPU-accelerated local AI, on Linux for Tegra (L4T) with NVIDIA JetPack. It can run from a Milwaukee M12 battery pack, and it drives a display over a single USB-C cable.

CB302B Frequently Asked Questions
Does the CB302B come with a Jetson module?
No. The bare board does not include a Jetson module, an NVMe SSD or a battery. It is designed for the Jetson Orin Nano 4GB, Orin Nano 8GB, Orin NX 8GB and Orin NX 16GB. In the Curve Developer Kit, you can add a module we source or bring your own.
Which NVMe SSD form factors fit the CB302B?
The board has an M.2 Key M slot for NVMe SSDs in the 2280, 2260 and 2242 form factors, tested with drives from 256GB to 4TB. No SSD is included with the bare board, and you can swap or upgrade the SSD later.
How do I connect a display, and is there an HDMI port?
Video comes out over USB-C using DisplayPort Alt Mode, on Type-C 1. Type-C 2 is the USB-C PD power input and debug port. There is no HDMI port on the board.
What are the power options for the CB302B?
The CB302B runs from genuine Milwaukee M12 battery packs (3Ah, 6Ah or 9Ah, which you supply) or from 45 W USB-C PD on Type-C 2. The M12 packs are hot-swappable: an internal bridge lets you change packs without the board powering off. Battery runtime depends on the module, power mode, workload and pack.
Is the CB302B ROS compatible?
Yes, the CB302B is ROS compatible. It runs Linux for Tegra (L4T) with NVIDIA JetPack, so you can build your ROS projects on it.
What GPIO and camera connectors does the CB302B have?
The CB302B uses the same 40-pin GPIO format and 22-pin camera connector format found on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit.
